Why do you think you are qualified to run for the office?
Although I have not previously held an office I believe the my strong commitment to Natrona County and Wyoming through community involvement, previous employment and many years of being a citizen of Wyoming qualify me to represent the citizens as Representative of House District #38. I believe it is the obligation of elected officials to listen to, communicate with and represent the voters who elected them accordingly. The experience issue will most likely be brought to the foreground as we proceed, and I ask each of you, which elected official actually had experience prior to their first term in office, my guess not a single one. I think that the desire to represent the voters is of more importance than experience because being in office to long has the potential to cause an official to become calloused to the will and desire of the voters. I feel I can represent the people of House District #38 and the state of Wyoming as the deserved to be represented.
What are your priorities, if elected?
Address the issue of rapidly rising property taxes, Health care for all residents of Wyoming, The adverse effects of increase prescription and medical costs, with the rapid growth within the state the issue of infrastructure needs to be carefully addressed, and the outdated workman’s compensation program needs to be adjusted. These are just a few of the issues that are a concern to Wyoming residents.
What issues related to the office you are seeking do you think are of the biggest concern to the voters? Some of the issues are, the rising inflation and the state of the economy, uncontrolled rise of gasoline and diesel prices, rising utility prices, health care and medical costs and proper use of taxpayer's dollars at all levels.
